"The imaginary friends I had as a kid dropped me because their friends thought I didn't exist." -- Aaron Machado

Cerberus

Some years ago, I read a magazine. In the magazine was an article; in the article was a review. The review was of Cardea, a text-based roleplaying game. I started playing...

Then my instinct for programming took over; I started work on a client of my own for the game.

It moved through many incarnations; this is the last.

Cerberus was a big achievement for me; it became fairly popular with Cardea's players and is still used today. There were several versions released... the latest official version is available on Cardea's page. This version was never released, and it contains various unfinished features. First and foremost is an auto-mapper: it detects terrain types and displays a map using cute little icons -- which I drew myself. So they're not very good. But that's life.
